Get Moving Catalog’s Mission
The mission of the Get Moving Fundraising Catalog™ is to assist schools, non-profit institutions and causes in reaching their fundraising goals while empowering their members and their communities to make the transition to better health.
Get Moving Catalog Program Summary
The Get Moving Catalog™ combines both online and offline sales & marketing tools to reach a wide audience and maximize revenue opportunities.
Each participating institution is given a customized product catalog that can be printed or distributed digitally to family, friends, and neighbors. Institutions are also given a unique web page on the Get Moving Catalog website . A good example is The Learning Experience’s unique page located at www.tlecatalog.com .
Visitors to the site can purchase Products With Purpose™ designed to raise money and get communities moving, at the same price (or cheaper) than through traditional retail outlets. Our system tracks all traffic, visitors, and transactions that your individual institution’s catalog, website, and campaigns generate.
A significant portion of the sales proceeds are paid out to the partner fundraising institution on a revenue sharing basis.

Join the Get Moving Miami team as we support the American Diabetes Association (ADA) in walking to fight diabetes . The Get Moving Miami Team is part of an initiative started by TAG Fitness to get people moving & providie them with the tools they need to start making healthier choices while inspiring other within our community. By helping ourselves and those we care for, we can make a difference one step at a time in reversing the trend towards obesity and type 2 diabetes that our nation is facing.
Diabetes, specifically Type 2 is estimated to make up 90% – 95% of all diagnosed diabetics in the US. Remarkably since many symptoms seem so harmless, diabetes can go undiagnosed until complications arise. The key to early detection of pre-diabetes and type 2 can help decrease issues and complications that can arise from diabetes. Small changes in our lifestyle and daily activities, like a5%-8% decrease in body weight, can have very significant effects on our health.
The ADA is a non-profit organization that raises funds to aid in research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes; deliver services to hundreds of communities; provide clear, objective & truthful information; and speaks for those denied their rights because of diabetes. There are over 23 million Americans affected by Diabetes. 1 in every 4 adults in the US is at risk for Type 2 diabetes. There is an urgency and very real need to start moving, get involved and start by making personal changes that will make a difference.
Over 100,000 of us came together last year for nationwide Step Out events across the country, where with each step, we raised dollars that will assist in important research funding to help find a cure for this disease. Together we can stop diabetes and help raise money and awareness that will help our community gain education, so that adults and children learn how they can make small changes that will affect the rest of their lives.
By walking along with us on October 10th, 2009, you too can make a difference and stand up for a cause that touches all of our lives.
Join team Get Moving Miami today, and let’s walk together to find a cure, raise awareness and get us all healthier, one step at a time!
